Let me start by saying that Caitlin Clark is an incredible basketball player! Her passing and shooting are amazing, she is a great rebounder, and her ability to change speeds makes her nearly impossible to guard. , but I’ve been reading some posts and hearing some folks say that she is currently the best player in college basketball; or that she is one of the greatest players of all time—not the best female player or one of the best female players of all time. That’s just not the case. If you put Caitlin on the court in the Men’s Final Four, she would not be the best player on the court; in fact, her rebounding would likely be non-existent, and her stamina and strength would be tested to their limits. The first time she ran into a solid screen, she would be hurting. The example of Caitlin Clark just points to the obvious fact that makes and females are different in their physical makeup. They are not equal physically. This fact takes nothing away from her greatness, nor does it mean women should not have equal opportunities with men. It just illustrates an objective reality—something many in our society want to ignore and attempt to deny.
