Media Bias: Kyle Rittenhouse – <font class="cstm-fnt" style=""><span style="font-size: 25.6032px;">curtandtheotherguy.com</span></font>

Media Bias: Kyle Rittenhouse

While listening to my local news, I hear the reporter say this :  “A verdict is expected in the Kyle Rittenhouse murder case. Why a guilty verdict is likely.”  What is wrong with reporters?!?!?!  A reporter’s job is to report, not speculate, hypothesize, theorize, or opine. There was a day when reporters reported, and opinion was kept separate from the actual news.  That day was a better day. What are your thoughts?

Ana Kasparian from the Young Turks admits she was wrong about Kyle rittenhouse:

I found Megyn Kelly’s comments cogent and germane to the Rittenhouse story:

MSM: People of color should be outraged because a white man who shot 3 white men was acquitted. Please explain this to me, if you can.

I’m sad people died. I’m sad the riots happened. I’m sad our justice system is anything but just. I’m sad our nation is so divided, but this simply was not murder. Have you watched the video evidence presented? Rittenhouse was attacked or threatened by all three men he shot. Even Ana Kasparian admitted she had been wrong about this case. If you’d like, feel free to comment.

Benjamin Wickham19h  · So this verdict came out as well… An African American male shot and killed police and came out clean by way of self defense. Now ask yourself, under the circumstances of this case, why aren’t all the major news networks and BLM exploding with the great news of this big win???? I have an idea, but I’d like to hear what your thoughts are…What so weird is that Rittenhouse is white, he shot 3 white men, and somehow this is racially motivated. If something goes against the media’s agenda, it doesn’t get the press.

The Kyle Rittenhouse Case Is Putting the American Justice System on Trial

“One cannot claim to believe in limited government and continue to support this system or its actors. And one cannot hope to truly achieve the systemic, large-scale reforms we need to rein in government authority if we only care about these injustices when the defendant fits our political profile.

After watching what transpired in the Rittenhouse case, we can hope that Americans will take the lessons they’ve learned here into the forthcoming trial of the men accused of murdering Ahmaud Arbery, which is already rife with its own prosecutorial misconduct from the very beginning.

Until we get in lockstep and demand reforms in our system, we will continue to see such injustices play out time and again, and unfortunately, most of the time, the vast majority of the country won’t even be watching.”

Tulsi Gabbard

November 19 at 1:50 PM  · The jury got it right—finding Rittenhouse not guilty on all charges. The fact that charges were brought before any serious investigation is evidence that the government was motivated by politics, which itself should be considered criminal.

  1. MSM: People of color should be outraged because a white man who shot 3 white men was acquitted. Please explain this to me, if you can.

  2. Kyle was not wrong the people rioting and burning buildings for the week before this were the ones wrong!
It is up to citizens to protect them selves , homes and businesses when the police are told to stand down!
Any person the would try to burn my home or business down would be dealt with!
Any person that tries to take my weapon or tries to forcibly disarm me would meet their fate!
I think if their were less pussies and more men that acted like men we would have less trouble in our country!

    1. I basically agree with you. My son and I were talking last night, and if someone is attacking you, regardless why; you must defend yourself. I’ve heard people say we shouldn’t use force if death is threatened, but what about assault or rape? I think it would make a difference if someone was taking a candy bar versus breaking into my home or business, but if the same kid kept attempting to steal my candy bar; I’d use physical force to stop him. You also make two other great points: the mayors of many of the cities that had riots last summer literally told their police force to stand down and allow the looters and rioters to wreak havoc. I know this happened in Louisville. Your second point, that we are responsible to defend ourselves is spot on. Law enforcement is not responsible for me or my family, I am. I will say that I don’t personally think Kyle Rittenhouse mad a prudent choice by injecting himself into the situation, but he was 100% right to defend himself. All the video and testimony supports that fact. One last thought: how is this about race? Kyle is white, and he shot 3 white men. The media and many in government have just lied on this one. Thanks for your thoughts!

  3. There is plenty of adults to send to prison for this. In the end, this is a 17 year old pathetic little bastard who was taken to a place where he should not be by one or both parents, who gave money to an adult to purchase a rifle for him and who then ended up in a situational environment that is not for minors. The real murders are those who enabled a immature minor to participate in violent protests with a semi automatic rifle. I cant blame him for getting scared as he is a kid after all, but what normal person raises their kid to fucking run around violent protests with an AR15 playing some vigilante??? Many years for him in a mental institution and many years in prison for the enablers.

    1. Sasa, there is definitely a lot of blame to spread around for this situation. Honestly, my wife and I have talked about this and agree that he should not have been there, but that he likely did not break the law. There were plenty of other folks in that mob that were carrying weapons. The violence of the protestors-turned-criminals cannot be ignored. Finally, our legal system needs major reform. Civil rights are not respected by law enforcement, prosecutors withhold evidence and pressure individuals to plead under threat of greater punishments, and the war on drugs and terror combined are destroying any semblance of rights in this nation. Interesting fact: over 90% of all criminal cases end in a plea deal. How is that really just? Thoughts?
