Today’s Musings

As I drove to work today, a few thoughts struck me. First, since wages have increased dramatically, why are people still struggling to pay their bills? Could inflation be the cause?!?!?! Second, stop telling us that the pandemic caused this economic problem, or the pandemic caused that economic problem. It is OUR Response to the pandemic that has caused the majority of our “new” problems–supply chain issues, inflation, worker shortages. On top of economic issues, the RESPONSE to the pandemic has exacerbated or exposed problems in our education system, our health system (if it can even be called that honestly), and our economic system.
