Simplify the system to enter legally. Let peaceful people live here without government aid. Problem solved (well, mostly).

  1. Increase free and fair trade with our Central American neighbors to improve conditions for everyone.
  2. End the war on drugs. It is a colossal failure and would end much of the violence these children are fleeing.
  3. Make it much simpler to come here to live and work legally.
  4. Work even more closely with Mexico and the other nations involved to find other solutions.
  5. Ask Canada for help I’m taking in some of these refugees. The truth is we will never solve this problem until Jesus returns, but we need to do our best to help others.

The issue in this video is not primarily one of ethnicity. It is one of poverty and lack of power. The poor and powerless do not have the same voice as the rich and powerful. Of course, Black Americans suffer disproportionately from our screwed-up system, but all of US are at risk of suffering when we allow the rights of any one group to be violated, or allow the media to control the narrative. Our criminal justice system is in need of major reform.
