I am against government regulation of consensual sex among adults, but I am in favor of monogamous marriage.
I have never smoked a joint, but I despise the war on drugs.
I think the government at all levels is systematically violating the Bill of Rights, but I believe local law enforcement is necessary to a free society.
I strive to be consistently pro-life, but I understand that abortion is a thorny legal issue.
I believe that law-abiding people should be free to travel, but I understand that many of my fellow Americans want some form of immigration control.
I believe in freedom of speech, but I question that corporations are people too, or that anonymous PACs, Superpacs, and Corporations donating millions of dollars is good for our republic.
I am opposed to federally-sponsored welfare (for both corporations and individuals), but I believe that it is my moral responsibility to care for my neighbor.
I believe in fighting terrorism and all true enemies of the American people, but I oppose the War on Terror, the military-industrial complex, and needless foreign interventionism.
I like tax cuts and am in favor of eliminating the IRS, but I believe the national debt is a great threat to our freedom.
I’m not a fan of people playing the victim card, but I will admit that being a white male still has some advantages.
I believe in the second amendment, but I do think that we need to stop villifying those who propose some reform in the purchasing process for guns.

Finally, you may not agree with all of my positions (In fact, I don’t always agree with them after discussion and thought), but we must stop vilifying and demonizing one another if we are going to solve some of our biggest problems.
